As an artist, Joan Nicholas Moore has fifty years of experience in portraiture, still life, and wildlife painting. She prefers to work in oils, but also enjoys using charcoal and pen and ink. Joan has produced murals for business, industry and private collectors, and has published several limited edition prints of her oil paintings.
Besides exhibiting her artwork at Family Hydrotherapy, LLC, she currently displays her work in local galleries near her home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Joan finds it a rewarding experience to teach classes in basic drawing and oil painting, and in recent years has been fascinated by the challenge of converting historical scenes in black and white photographs to full color oil paintings.

Landscape painter Meg Nottingham Walsh finds inspiration in the Virginia Piedmont, the Potomac River and C&O Canal, and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She has also done numerous pastel portraits of children, dogs, and cats. Her pastel and oil paintings can be found in the permanent collections of the National Institutes of Health and Georgetown University Hospital, as well as in many private homes.
Her work has been exhibited at the Alexandria Art League Gallery, the Academy of the Arts in Easton, Maryland, the Women’s National Democratic Club, the Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown University Hospital, the National Institutes of Health, George Mason University Law Center, the Arlington Central Library, the Ellipse Gallery, and the Metropolitan Gallery.
